The Westgate Park Lab supported cultural practitioners working in land-based disciplines to research and develop new initiatives in land preservation, development and renewal.

The program was developed through RMIT University's Master of Arts (Art in Public Space) program, and was attended by postgraduate students from the Art in Public Space, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design and Design Innovation and Technology programs. The residency aimed to establish a creative ecology of practitioners working in diverse fields who share a commonality of land and environment.
